DAY 01: Transfer to Gangtok

Arrival at (IXB)/ (NJP): Our representative will escort you for the forwarding journey to the capital city of Sikkim i.e. Gangtok, East Sikkim. Complete your check-in procedure later in the evening free for your personal activities and overnight stay at Gangtok.

DAY 02: Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir/Nathula

After breakfast excursion to Tsomgo Lake, this is situated at an elevation of 3753 meters / 12310 feet. Nearby is the sacred Baba Harbhajan Singh Temple and further on Nathu La Pass is an optional tour that takes 5 kilometers approx which connects India with China and it is at a height of 14,000 ft above sea level. However, the permit is subject to availability. Back to Gangtok and overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 05: Darjeeling full day sight-seeing with Tiger Hill

Early morning at around 4:00 AM drive to Tiger Hill 25 Kilometers away, token is subject to availability otherwise we will provide a day time (8:30-9:00 AM) to view Sunrise place over Khanchendzonga Peak (subject to clear weather) – On the way back visit Ghoom Monastery & Batasia Loop. Back to your hotel after breakfast full day sightseeing consist :

Best time to visit

Gangtok usually has a pleasant almost throughout the year. Summer is the best time to visit the place. Winters are great to capture snow-clad mountains but temperature is below freezing point from Dec to Feb. Best to skip the monsoon season.

 

Best time to visit Lachen and Lachung is between the months of October and June, as the weather is quite pleasant. Summers have moderate temperatures and ideal to explore the surrounding natural beauty. Winters are exceptionally cold with heavy snowfall, persisting fog and sub-zero temperatures.

 

If you want to experience Pelling’s biggest celebration, the Khangchendzonga Festival then visiting in the month of December is a good idea. Besides that, September to May months offer you enough captivating scenes. As Pelling gets severe rainfall during the monsoons, visitors usually prefer the winter or the onset of summer season for travel. Cultural hotspots
